Do you understand that all kittens leave Celestial Cattery with a veterinary examination, clean bill of health, and veterinarian sign-off prior to leaving? I understand that, despite proper veterinary examination and care, certain conditions may develop or become apparent after a kitten leaves the cattery and may not be covered under the health warranty. These may include, but are not limited to, parasites, upper respiratory infections (URI), fungal conditions such as ringworm/dermatitis, Feline Herpesvirus (FHV), Feline Calicivirus (FCV), and other conditions specifically excluded or not covered under the health warranty/contract. I understand that the health warranty is subject to the specific terms, conditions, exclusions, and requirements outlined in the signed contract.*

I understand that Celestial Cattery health tests breeding cats prior to breeding, including appropriate genetic testing for known breed-related conditions. However, genetic testing and health testing cannot guarantee that a kitten will never develop a medical condition later in life. I understand that Maine Coons and Ragdolls are purebred cats and, like all breeds, may have certain inherited or genetic health concerns. Some conditions may develop later in life despite responsible breeding, health testing, and clear genetic test results. For Maine Coons, health concerns may include, but are not limited to: Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef) Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) I understand that HCM can develop later in life, and a kitten or parent testing clear for a known genetic mutation does not guarantee that the cat will never develop HCM. This is particularly important to understand with Maine Coons, as males often become substantially larger as they mature. I understand that purchasing a purebred Maine Coon or Ragdoll means accepting the responsibility of providing regular, routine veterinary care throughout the cat's lifetime, including appropriate examinations, vaccinations, preventative care, and veterinary testing when recommended. I understand that the Celestial Cattery health guarantee regarding breed-specific conditions such as HCM, PKDef, and SMA is limited to the specific terms of the contract and applies only through the kitten's first year of life, unless otherwise specifically stated in the signed contract. I understand that no breeder can guarantee that a cat will remain completely free of genetic, hereditary, congenital, or acquired health conditions throughout its lifetime.*
