Frequently Asked Questions

Adopting a Maine Coon or Ragdoll is a lifetime commitment. We have established clear guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of our kittens and their future families.

Safe Transportation

🔒 Closed Cattery

For the health, safety, and privacy of our cats and kittens, we do not allow in-person home visits.

Virtual visits are welcome, and FaceTime/video calls are highly encouraged for families considering one of our kittens.

🏡 Reservations & Deposits

A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a specific kitten.

Deposits are accepted through Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App.

If you need to cancel your reservation, your deposit may be transferred toward a future kitten for up to one year from the date it was received.

💳 Final Payment

Final payment is accepted by:

• Cash at pickup

• Zelle at pickup

If paying the final balance through PayPal or Venmo, full payment must be received at least 48 hours before pickup to allow time for processing.

🐱 Waitlist

If you are looking for a specific breed, color, gender, or marking, joining our waitlist is recommended.

Waitlist deposit: $50 non-refundable..

🚗 Transportation & Delivery

We want bringing your new kitten home to be as easy as possible.

• Free local delivery: I will personally travel up to 1 hour in any direction from my home at no additional cost.

• Additional transportation: If you are located farther away, professional ground pet transportation available for an additional fee paid by the client.

• Transportation costs vary based on location and availability and will be discussed before arrangements are made.

• Ground transportation is not available to Hawaii or Alaska.

Kitten pricing is determined individually based on breed, color, markings, gender, size, and overall quality.

Maine Coons: $2,500-$4,000
Ragdolls: $1,800 - $2,500

All kittens are sold as pet-only. All kittens are spayed/neutered before leaving our care.

📋 Adoption Requirements

Every kitten placement requires a signed contract outlining our health guarantee, policies, and non-negotiable terms.

A blank copy of the contract can be provided to serious prospective families for review.

The completed contract must be signed and returned by email the day before pickup. If the contract is not received, pickup will need to be rescheduled.

Our priority is placing every kitten in a safe, loving, and appropriate forever home.

Celestial Cattery reserves the right to refuse a sale or adoption. If we determine that a placement is not appropriate and a deposit has already been received, the deposit will be refunded.
