About our Celestial Cattery

At our breeding facility, we prioritize the health and well-being of each of our cats by implementing rigorous breeding practices. Every king and queen in our program undergoes comprehensive testing to ensure they are free of hereditary conditions, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). This meticulous selection process means that only the healthiest individuals are chosen for breeding, significantly reducing the risk of passing on predisposed conditions to their offspring. Additionally, we are committed to providing our cats with a quality diet, carefully selecting premium food that supports their overall health and fosters optimal growth. Our cats are not just part of a breeding program; they are cherished members of our family, raised in our homes, where they receive daily attention, love, and socialization. This approach ensures that the kittens are well-adjusted and familiar with the household environment, setting them up for successful transitions to their new homes. For potential adoptees, we value transparency and connection; we are more than happy to engage in FaceTime calls to introduce you to our cats, answer any questions you may have, and share the joy of our beautiful kittens. All Kings and Queens are tested with Optimal Selection and registered with TICA. We are a CLOSED Cattery and do not allow visitors in our home. Facetime visits are always welcome so you can meet our Celestial Kittens.

Unique Qualities of Maine Coons and Ragdolls

Ragdolls are broken down into two different categories. Traditional and Cherubim.

Maine Coons

Maine Coons, one of the largest domesticated cat breeds, originated in Maine, USA. They are known for their striking appearance and friendly temperament. Typically weighing between 10 to 25 pounds, with males being larger than females, they feature a long, thick, water-repellent coat, tufts of fur on their ears, and large expressive eyes that can be green, gold, or blue. Renowned for their gentle nature, Maine Coons are social, intelligent, and playful, making them excellent family companions. They bond well with children and other pets, often following their owners around the house in search of interaction. Overall, Maine Coons are beloved for their size, beauty, and amiable disposition.

Traditional

Traditional Ragdolls are a large, affectionate cat breed known for their striking blue eyes and soft, semi-long fur. Originating in the 1960s in California, they were developed by breeding domestic cats with Persian and Birman traits, leading to their docile nature. Typically weighing between 10 to 20 pounds, Ragdolls are large, with males usually being bigger than females. They are known for their unique temperament, often going limp when picked up, hence the name "Ragdoll." Renowned for their friendly and gentle demeanor, Traditional Ragdolls are highly social and tend to get along well with children and other pets. Their affectionate and laid-back personality makes them ideal companions for families and individuals alike.

Cherubim Ragdolls are Ragdolls that come in full-body colors instead of the typical colorpoint/bi-color pattern seen in Traditional Ragdolls. They still have the same temperament Ragdolls are famous for - they're calm, affectionate, and great family cats. Cherubims can come in may colors like solid, mink, sepia, shaded, smoke, tortie, and tabby. Their eyes can be blue, aqua, green, or gold depending on their color type. They grow into large, fluffy cats, usually 10-20lbs with males tending to be bigger than the females. As their own classification, Cherubim Ragdolls keep everything people love about Ragdolls while offering a wider variety of beautiful colors and patterns.
